The following includes rules and guides for the house:

Inside each bathroom, there is a picture that shows you how to adjust the temperature in the shower/bath.

We have a Keurig and a regular coffee pot.

We have beach and pool toys and equipment in the garage, including beach chairs, a cooler and an umbrella.

You will be provided with your codes for the doors about two days before arrival via message on Airbnb or VRBO.

Please respect the beach equipment as if it was your own. Guests have destroyed several beach chairs and leave them to be found. If you damage a chair, please just let me know.

The “jacuzzi” does not heat up. It is on the same plumbing as the pool and therefore is the same temperature. Also, there are no jets in the sense that you think of. The jets are used to filter the water. They are on the same timer as the pump and it needs to be left to the pool professionals to change.

Please do not leave small toys in the pool when unattended. They end up in the basket and it can clog things.

Please take all pool toys back into the garage before checkout and leave the pool area clear of any towels/toys or debri. Put the furniture back to the way you found it.

Ok, so the pool has the potential to be heated but it is not included in your stay. If you want the pool to be heated, you’ll need to pay $30/day up front either through Airbnb or Venmo. When paid, do not try to adjust the heater yourself. It can be dangerous. It needs to be changed by the pool professionals, and it will be for the time you pre paid for.

Please do not try to put the air conditioner temperature below 72 degrees. The air conditioner works constantly to battle the Florida heat. If it is put too low, it can freeze up and stop working all together. No one wants that.

Trash and recycling pickup are both on Thursdays. PLEASE drag the cans to the curb on Wednesday evening, even if you arrive on Wednesday. It is only collected once per week and has been known to accumulate a lot of trash. The trash cans are on the side of the garage in their designated positions. We all pitch in. There will be a charge for excessive trash left, as this has been abused in the past.

Please only use dishwasher pods in the dishwasher. They are provided under the sink.

The house will be stocked with one roll of paper towels per stay, trash bags, toilet paper, hand soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods and dishwasher soap. Please provide anything else needed but not found yourselves.

If you break anything, please report it to me. I am a reasonable person.

CHECKOUT

Please remove all debri from the pool area and put all pool and beach toys back in the garage where they belong.

Please run the dishwasher with any leftover dishes.

If you used any additional bedding, please wash it (besides blankets), fold it and return it to where you found it. Our cleaning people charge extra for extra bedding.
